When he first discovered chiropractic, Dr. Younis was a junior in college dealing with back pain. He started seeing a chiropractor in his hometown in Pennsylvania. He was so impressed by the experience that it spurred his interest in chiropractic. "It was because of this chiropractor's motivation and direction that I decided to go to chiropractic school." In our profession it is often said that chiropractic finds the chiropractor and for Dr. Joe that is exactly what happened. Dr. Younis graduated from Albright College in Reading, Pa in 1977, with a bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Then received his doctorate in chiropractic from New York Chiropractic College in 1981. In addition to obtaining his chiropractic education and taking various postgraduate courses over the years, Dr. Younis is working toward getting his accreditation in pediatrics through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association (ICPA) and Functional Neurology.While this office was founded in2013, Younis Chiropractic & Wellness center has been serving families in Lake Zurich and the surrounding communities for over 30 years, providing the highest level of chiropractic care with compassion and expertise.
