Iris believes in quality over quantity and client-centered massage treatments that focus specifically on the needs of each person on her massage table. Iris' tenacity for learning and taking continuing education courses each year has helped her develop a unique blend of various modalities and techniques. Her specialties range from energy bodywork to clinical massage. She uses her knowledge and intuition to provide a welcoming and safe environment that promotes healing of the mind, body, and spirit. When she isn't working on enhancing and growing her massage practice, she is spending time with her family, boyfriend, and his three beautiful daughters. Iris loves to lift heavy weights, cook paleo dishes while listening to audible novels, and has a deep love and affinity for makeup and YouTube makeup artist tutorials.Iris Morrell has been a licensed and certified massage therapist in Northern Virginia for the past 13 years. She graduated from Applied Career Training in 2003 with a certificate in massage therapy and became nationally certified by the NCBTMB in 2004. Iris is a Reiki master, Integrative Reflexologist, and holds advanced maternity certification training with Kate Jordan, Bodywork for the Childbearing Year, and Carole Osborne, Pre- and Perinatal Massage Therapy. She has received beginners and intermediate training in Traditional Thai Massage and is certified in Hot Stone Massage. For 2016 Iris is currently working on her certifications for Neuromuscular Therapy through The NMT Center and Orthopedic Massage with The Academy of Clinical Massage.
