D. Matt Innis, DC attended Indiana University at Bloomington with a major in Biology before attending Logan Chiropractic College in St. Louis, MO where he graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelors in Human Biology and Doctor of Chiropractic (DC). He obtained his certification to perform acupuncture from National University of Health Sciences. Dr Mat joined the practice after graduated cum laude from Logan in 2010. He attended UNCC for his premedical studies. He is an Eagle Scout.Dr. Innis opened Eastwind Chiropractic Center in Charlotte, NC. in 1983 and has built his life and practice around it ever since. He and his wife, Shyrl, have four children. Their son, Dr. Mat joined the practice in 2010 and brings the latest techniques and skills to the practice.

As a father and son team, we offer gentle chiropractic care as a complement and alternative to medication and surgery. Spinal adjustments/treatments include manipulation, massage, flexion distraction, activator, manual therapies, therapeutic muscle stimulation, ultrasound, and acupuncture for spine and extremities.
