As Co-Owner and therapist of DSPT, Dr. Schultz is a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist. He received his Master of Science degree in Physical Therapy from Touro College and his Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Temple University. His specialty is rehabilitating orthopedic and sports injuries with a particular interest in athletic hip injuries and post operative rehabilitation of the hip and lower extremity. Pete is certified in ART (Active Release Techniques), Graston Technique, and many other advanced manual therapy techniques. He has educated hundreds of fitness professionals and has lectured on Anatomy and Physiology and Musculoskeletal Systems to PTA students at New York University. Pete served on the Medical Team for the 2012 New York City Ironman Triathlon where he was able to help treat amateur and professional athletes compete at their highest level. Pete is also a certified Medical Provider through the Titleist Performance Institute and has trained and rehabilitated golfDynamic Sports Physical Therapy was established to provide high quality care in NYC to those that want a higher level of service.
