Meet Dr. Leroy W. Dickman II, also known by his patients as Dr. Roy. As the founder and chief chiropractor at Compass Chiropractic, Dr. Roy is a graduate of Athens State University where he earned a degree in Health and Wellness Management before attending Life University for his Doctor of Chiropractic degree. With a background working as an anesthesia technician in operating and emergency room settings, Dr. Roy saw first-hand the medical intervention tactics employed by physicians to help reduce pain. It was then that he decided to pursue a career aimed at improving his patient's health through specialized chiropractic care addressing the cause of pain rather than simply treating the symptoms. When he's not guiding patients on their journey to wellness, Dr. Roy enjoys spending time with his family, working on cars, rooting for his favorite sports teams and target shooting.Compass Chiropractic is the practice of Dr. Leroy Dickman II. Formerly Dr. Danita Thomas Heagy's office, Dr. Roy is excited to carry on the legacy of specific chiropractic care that Dr. Danita is known for.
