Dr. Joshua Akin, DC, ART, MUA Dr. Akin, founder and Clinic Director of Chicago Chiropractic & Sports Medicine, is a board certified Chiropractor with certifications in Active Release Techniques (ART) and Manipulation Under Anesthesia (MUA), Graston and Acupuncture. Dr. Akin is in his fourth year as the Chiropractic Physician for the Chicago Bears and has been the physician for the Chicago Cubs, since 2010. Dr. Akin provides diagnosis and treats professional athletes, collegiate athletes, high school athletes, and active individuals. He utilizes a combination of chiropractic, soft tissue treatment, rehabilitation and acupuncture. Dr. Akin is a member of the Illinois Chiropractic Society, NFL Chiropractic Association, MLB Chiropractic Association, and ART Ironman Provider Network. He is also a member of the Winnetka/Northfield Chamber of Commerce and a member of CARA.
