Dr. Jay Kunard is originally from Carlsbad, California. Before pursuing a career in Chiropractic he studied Biology at the University of California Santa Cruz then went on to work in the field of Biotechnology. Dr. Kunard has always found the sciences to be intriguing but his true passion has always been to work in health care. He decided to redirect his career and attended Southern California University of Health Sciences (LACC) and earned a Doctorate in Chiropractic. While attending LACC, Dr. Kunard went on to complete his Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) and strength trained amateur horse jockeys in Santa Anita. Now you can find him training and utilizing his expertise in physiotherapy/rehabilitative exercises at the Pacific Athletic Club located in Carmel Valley, San Diego.One of the first Chiropractic offices in Carmel Valley, San Diego.
