Dr. Barbara Rinkoff graduated in 1987 from Western States Chiropractic College in Portland OR. After practicing and teaching in Portland for a few years, Dr. Rinkoff relocated to San Francisco and began her practice at Chiromedica on Union Street in the Marina/Cow Hollow district. When she is not doing what she loves at work, Dr. Barbara spends time hiking the hills of the city and the trails of West Marin. She also has a passion for crafting miniature houses and scenes; some of her work can be seen in her office. Being passionate about work and play alike is a balance that is very important to Dr. Barbara, and one that she can help you to achieve. She believes that true health comes from the connection and partnership between doctor and patient.Dr. Barbara began her practice with a bang on the day of the Loma Prieta earthquake - Oct. 17, 1989! She has been a part of the Marina/Cow Hollow community ever since!

I was in San Francisco to do the escape from Alcatraz triathlon and after the race I needed to be adjusted which I do regularly in Birmingham Alabama. I was able to luckily get an appointment with Dr. Barbara and just going off of her awesome reviews I chose to go see her. I am a chiropractor myself so I am picky who works on my spine and body. She did an excellent job, she was extremely thorough When I’m back in San Francisco I will definitely go visit again. If I was there on a regular basis I would absolutely see her on a regular basis. Great adjustment highly recommended.
