Acerca de

Dr. Chad Moreau lives in the Hollywood Riviera area of Torrance. He didn't grow up in California, as he was a Canadian, playing youth and junior hockey in Ontario. In high school he became an accomplished discus thrower and in 1992 was awarded an NCAA scholarship to the University of South Carolina (Honors College) where he studied exercise science. He entered the Doctor of Chiropractic program at the Southern California University of Health Sciences in Los Angeles and graduated in 1998 (President's award). He attained the Certified Strength & Conditioning Specialist accreditation from the National Strength & Conditioning Association in 2000. He has served as the Strength & Conditioning Coach for the Edmonton Oilers (NHL) from 2005-9, team chiropractor for the Los Angeles Kings 2012-2020, Los Angeles Dodgers 2017-2019, Los Angeles Lakers 2020 and USC 2019-2022.Back to Function opened its doors in the South Bay Plaza (Lomita, Calfornia) in 2004. We chose the Lomita area because of its proximity to the Palos Verdes Peninsula and the beach cities of Long Beach, San Pedro, Redondo Beach, Hermosa Beach and Manhattan Beach. Back to Function was started to provide the South bay residents with a healthcare office that could deliver elite chiropractic and soft tissue therapy in addition to rehabilitative exercise, fitness training, nutritional counseling and Reformer Pilates.
