Acerca de

Amy graduated from Texas Woman's University in Houston in 2013 with her Doctorate in Physical Therapy. After physical therapy school, she completed the Manual Therapy Institute Fellowship program in 2016 to become a Fellow of the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists (FAAOMPT). She then became an Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) with the American Physical Therapy Association in 2017. Amy has served on the Board for the Southeastern District of the Texas Physical Therapy Association since 2017 and has been an active member of the association since 2010. Amy has been a member of the Affiliates in Physical Therapy family since 2016 and is excited to kick start the next chapter with Affiliates Prime. Prior to beginning her physical therapy education career, Amy attended Texas Tech University for her undergraduate degree in Exercise Science and was a member of the Texas Tech soccer team. She and her husband, Charlie, moved to Houston in 2010 and now have three sons.Having served the Greater Houston area for more than 30 years, the team at Affiliates in Physical Therapy recognized the need for a new model in the delivery of physical therapy care and rehabilitation to specifically address the unique needs of seniors.
