Kristen began her therapy career at Bryn Mawr Rehabilitation Hospital where she spent time on the Spinal Cord, Musculoskeletal, and Amputee Units before finding a home on the Stroke Unit. Kristen quickly developed a passion for treating clients with neurological conditions, prompting her to pursue an advanced certification in Neuro-Developmental Technique, a hands-on technique for the treatment of individuals with hemiplegia. Fulfilling her love of geriatrics, Kristen became an American Physical Therapy Association Geriatric Certified Specialist in 2009. In addition, Kristen is SFMA certified for sports performance. Kristen is an adjunct faculty in the Physical Therapy Department at Neumann University. Kristen lives locally with her husband and three sons and enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors, and dancing.Action Potential was founded in October 2011 by two devoted physical therapists, Kathy Dixon and Kristen Wilson. Frustrated with the lack of focus on customer service in most healthcare practices, Kathy and Kristen sought an innovative, highly-customized approach to treatment, based on years of experience and patient interaction.
