Caitlin is passionate about helping people find safety within their bodies. She believes in open communication with her clients so that they feel empowered to ask for what they want and need during their session, and in other areas of their lives. Caitlin especially enjoys working with the LGBTQIA+ community and other clients who struggle to feel safe in their bodies, and in the world.A Room of Our Own Massage was created after the owner, Caitlin Eichorn, went to a massage therapist who talked about herself during the entire session, and even made a homophobic remark while Caitlin was on the table. She heard from numerous other clients, mostly women, who didn't feel comfortable asking the therapist to not talk during their session. Caitlin wanted to create a massage therapy practice where the client felt safe, respected, and heard.

Just had a 30- minute lower body focused massage with Angelica and it was perfect! She is kind, listened to and affirmed what I told her which made me feel heard and safe! I left feeling much better than I did when I went in and am so relaxed! The building is clean, beautiful, and accommodating. The staff is kind and understanding. Plus the various deals they have are very helpful! Highly recommend

My skin always looks so phenomenal after getting a facial here! This is the perfect treat before a big event to look my best or just to relax and unwind. I always come to see Anna because she creates such an inviting atmosphere and is so knowledge about skin care. Couldn’t recommend it more!

My favorite spa in Davis. Every therapist I have experienced has been professional and highly skilled. The ambiance is serene and so relaxing. It is cool when it is hot outside and warm when it is cold outside. They have nice tea for your sipping pleasure in the waiting room. My absolute favorite treatments are dermaplaning facial (Anna) and deep tissue massage (Bri), with an honorable mention for the Relaxation Room and for their massage with active release technique (Julio). I do like very firm\deep pressure for massage, so can't speak for any gentler therapeutic massage modalities here but if you need something worked out or want some serious skin pampering, you will find it here.

I just had a 60 minute massage with Caitlin and cannot speak highly enough of my experience! She is a gifted massage therapist with an intuitive touch that is both relaxing and therapeutic. My problem areas feel so much relief and I appreciated how she took time at the end to explain why I was feeling tightness and pain in certain areas and what I could do to improve my posture. I will definitely be back!!
