Originally from Moscow, Russia I lived in the Bay area for the majority of my life. I wanted to bridge religion, spirit and science and drawing upon my zest for biology and organic chemistry and the Russian schooling of "must study science to get anywhere in life" and signed up for a bachelors in Molecular Cell Biology at UC Berkeley. Upon visiting yoga retreats and meditation classes I decided that instead of bridging and proving spirit, I wanted to find a career that fundamentally agreed with my values of the respect for the sacredness of all life, passion for human vitality and my desire to inspire health! So I rejected going to Med School and embarked upon finding a path with a heart. While working in Biotech or healthcare related work I studied bodywork and did transformational courses until one day I knew to go to Acupuncture School. After graduating with a specialty in manual Therapy I started my private practice and worked at International Orange Spa for a few years.Ilya Yacobson LAc CMT felt the calling of being a healer for many years. Timeless Medicine is a way to offer all his skills in acupuncture, bodywork, energy work, yoga, Qi gong, nutrition, psychotherapy and his passion for the ancient ways of being human in harmony with themselves, family and community. He was working at International Orange Spa Yoga Lounge as a massage therapist While finishing up his Masters program in Chinese Medicine. Licensed at the end of 2007 he decided to combine his skills in body work, acupuncture, nutrition, shamanism and a pain free vital healthy lifestyle by going into private practice as well. Having left IO in 2012 he wanted to reach a wider circle to offer his healing gifts and made his business a full time offering to those yearning come back to their body and their spirit.
