Seek Health’s Infrared Sauna is wonderful! First, it is big enough for me to lay on my back, with legs comfortably bent.Second, the heat climbs slowly. I never was uncomfortable. I did sweat, which was also amazingly comfortable. I was given both a big towel and a hand towel, for my use inside, plus there was one to sit on & one for my feet. I drank water, took a 20 minute nap, & then read for 20 minutes. Also given me, for afterwards, was a cool, damp hand towel, soaked in essential oils, to wipe off the sweat! Luxury!!! I still feel great, 45 minutes later. My comparisons include an infrared sauna in Burbank and various kinds in Holland. This one, at Seek Health, is my favorite! One difference is that this one is 40 full minutes, plus time to get ready to come out! Definitely I will return!! Hope you get to experience this, too! Kate S.

Thankfully, Caitie Whippermann has been my trainer 12 years. I was just turning 60 when I engaged her to help with my aching back. I also didn’t want to live in fear of falling, and to prevent was constantly walking with my head down & forward watching my feet. Not sustainable! This winter Caitie (& Bruce, her husband - also a great trainer) moved her practice to Seek Health. A smart move! Because just last month I tweaked my shoulder. And right there down the hall is Dr. Jude, a great chiropractor. So with the good doctor’s input, Caitie is designing my workouts to get my shoulder back in shape. I’m happy with this new design for healthy living. Also, Hannah, at the front desk, is a joy. Always helpful & kind.

Dr. Mckenzie is truly the best, and I hope she never, ever leaves Carpinteria! I have been seeing her since November 2024, and she is now a staple in my health and wellness routine. I never really went for the chiropractor thing, especially since I work in the medical field, but now that I am getting older, and my joints are not working the way I always want them to or my back is not always behaving… I realized I needed to add other treatment modalities into my life. She was the core reason why I had such a good back injury, recovery, and she is currently working with me on recovering my rotator cuff tear. I feel so grateful that she is our local chiropractor, because she is so kind, knowledgeable and community-centered. If you are curious about adding a new treatment modality to your current regimen, I highly suggest trying Seek Health. Super grateful for you all at this office!
