At Nirschl Orthopaedic Center (NOC), we have a dedicated staff featuring six of the area's leading Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Surgeons. At NOC, we treat a wide variety of patients. I am a physical therapist and I have had the pleasure of collaborating with Dr. Paik for over 10 years on many shoulder and elbow cases. Through direct shadowing and numerous conversations over patient cases, I can say that Dr. Paik is in a class of his own. He is a highly skilled surgeon who gets fantastic surgical outcomes and what further sets him apart is his communication skills with his patients (and other healthcare professionals). He makes a concerted effort to treat the specific needs of the individual patient, collaborate with his patients and colleagues, and communicate in a way that ensures understanding by all members of the treatment team. Dr. Paik’s approach leaves his patients feeling more confident about the surgical (or non-surgical) journey and it is a pleasure to work with him and his patients. I cannot recommend Dr. Paik highly enough for any shoulder or elbow injury.
