Davita Paul, MS, CES, NCPT is a movement specialist, nationally certified Pilates instructor with the Pilates Method Alliance (NCPT), and a Corrective Exercise Specialist with IDEA Fitness Association (CES). In 2018 she obtained her MS in Kinesiology specializing in Orthopedic Rehabilitation Corrective Exercise, and Geriatric Exercise, and received her BFA in Dance Performance (2012) from UC Irvine. Previously, Davita was a Ballet Dancer with Los Angeles Ballet, a Flamenco dancer with the CZ Flamenco Ensemble, and was in the founding group of dancers and Executive Assistant of Dr. S.Ama Wray's JazzXchange. In 2014 she established a Pilates studio at the Brentwood Country Club. In 2019 DavitaPilates was founded focusing on Pilates-based movement for post-rehabilitative therapeutic exercise, sport-specific training, and general wellness. She works alongside local physical therapists, and other medical professionals in order to improve client wellbeing and reduce chronic pain.A movement and corrective exercise specialist, Davita is a PMA-certified Pilates instructor (NCPT). She holds an MS in Kinesiology specializing in corrective exercise orthopedic rehabilitation and geriatric exercise. Davita developed the Pilates program at the Brentwood Country Club in 2014. She enjoys working alongside local physical therapists and other medical professionals to improve client wellbeing by reducing pain and rehabilitating chronic issues through interdisciplinary modalities. Davita focuses on physical rehabilitation and general fitness through Pilates. Her specialties include Corrective Exercise Orthopedic Rehabilitation, Active Aging, Geriatric Exercise, Sport-Specific Pilates ( Cycling, Running, Golf, Dance), Therapeutic Exercise, and General Wellness through Movement She has been doing Pilates since 2004, was a dance artist from 2002-2014, and has been teaching movement since 2012.
