Justin earned a BS degree in Kinesiology from Simon Fraser Univesity in Vancouver, British Columbia and then went on to earn a Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Colorado Denver. He brings extensive sports experience to Cascade Sports. Justin was a 2-time NAIA Soccer All-American in college and was set to play professionally when an injury forced him to switch his focus to coaching. He has coached at the youth, collegiate, and semi-professional levels. Since 2003 Justin has been providing trainings, injury prevention screenings and sports performance for athletes from a number of different sports inincluding soccer, football, basketball, softball, baseball, golf, swimming, track & field, tennis and cycling. Justin is currently working towards his Board Certification as a Sports Certified Specialist through the APTA. He is certified in Trigger Point Dry Needling.

We rehabilitate a wide variety of orthopedic injuries as well as bridging the gap between rehabilitation and performance. Cascade Sports provides a complete evaluation of the injury and surrounding areas, looking for deficiencies and weaknesses that could have factored in to the injury taking place.

Best PTs the Denver area! I've been going here twice a week over the past year while recovering from 2 knee surgeries and have been mainly working with Emily and Kristen. The PTs are friendly and very knowledgable and make me feel confident I will return to sports! I'm very pleased with my progress so far and would definitely recommend this place to all my friends and family. As soon as you have a surgery date, schedule appts ASAP for after as there can be a wait to get in. If you can't avoid that, do PT elsewhere temporarily while waiting for spots to open up here - it's 100% worth it!

Emily has been a rockstar. Recovering from an ACL injury is no small feat, but working with Emily has made the entire journey not only manageable but surprisingly enjoyable. Her deep knowledge of ACL recovery was evident in every carefully structured exercise plan and every thoughtful adjustment based on my progress. Each session felt less like a chore and more like a team effort toward getting back to full strength. Thanks to Emily’s guidance and energy, I stayed committed and optimistic through the process. I genuinely looked forward to every appointment—and that’s something I never expected to say about physical therapy.

So grateful for Emily at Cascade! She’s an excellent pelvic floor PT who has helped me during two postpartum periods, pregnancy, and through a lot of hip pain. She helps me set doable goals that keep moving me forward in a way that’s helping me build strength but avoid injury. Office is always responsive and helpful when I need to move an appointment. It can take awhile to get in, but then as long as you schedule in advance (and get on a waitlist if needed!) it’s easy to get treatment as regularly as needed.
