About

Dr. Christopher DeMartini is a Bay Area native, born in San Francisco and a graduate of St. Ignatius College Preparatory. Dr. DeMartini's experience with chiropractic care began in his teens and was a pivotal part of maximizing his performance and facilitated his healing from injuries which allowed him to become the California State Champion in the shot put and a Junior National Champion in weightlifting. Upon graduating high school he declined many athletic scholarships in order to accept a residency at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colorado. While in Colorado Springs he completed his undergraduate education at Pikes Peak Community College. A severe injury ended his athletic career, but his remarkable recovery, thanks to the aid of Dr. Sergio Azzolino, started him on a new path of becoming a Chiropractic Neurologist.My wife and I were practicing in separate clinics in San Francisco as independent contractors and our dream was to open a clinic together that was close to home. I have always had a profound interest in the brain and its functioning starting and went on to earn my specialty certification in neurology. Elham did an internship at CPMC in San Francisco in the stroke, spinal cord injury and traumatic brain injury clinic and was amazed at the therapeutic effect acupuncture had in helping these people. We have found neurology to be the common ground from where we may best serve our community.
