It was a chiropractor who treated Dr. Erika Mennerick while she was a high school athlete who first piqued her interest in the field of chiropractic medicine. The care that she received led her to choose the National University of Health Sciences for her Doctoral education. After starting her private practice in 2005, Dr. Mennerick found her strengths in gait analysis and biomechanics as well as natural medicine. Dr. Mennerick has served as part-time faculty at the National University of Health Sciences since 2007 and currently teaches pediatrics, pregnancy care, and female health. As an instructor for the Motion Palpation Institute, she leads post-graduate seminars on adjusting technique, biomechanics, and functional assessment. She supports the American Chiropractic Association and the Illinois Chiropractic Society as a member.

We focus on biomechanics- teaching your body to move better using rehab exercises, training, and chiropractic adjustments. Conditions treated include: neck and back pain, headaches, sports injuries, shoulder, ankle, elbow, knee, hip. Certified Webster provider to treat pregnancy discomfort. Certified in Graston and Motion Palpation Techniques. Our doctor teaches other doctors. Natural medicine, lab work, blood draws. Our goal is to help our patients' bodies move and function more efficiently. We show our patients what it means to live a healthy life by including physical activity, quality foods and nutrition, restorative sleep, and emotional well being.
