Shawn Williams B.E.S.S., Msc. PT, Dip.Manip.PT, FCAMPT, CIDN is a Registered Physiotherapist and a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative Therapy. His treatment approach uses a combination of manual manipulation, joint mobilization, integrated dry needling, acupuncture techniques, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization, myofascial release, therapeutic exercise education and evidence based practice. Shawn graduated with his Bachelor of Exercise and Sport Science from the University of Manitoba in 2004 and went on to complete his Master of Science in Physiotherapy at McMaster University in 2006. He completed his Diploma of Manual and Manipulative therapy from the Canadian Physiotherapy Association Orthopedic Division in 2016, and is a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manual and Manipulative therapy (FCAMPT). This is Internationally recognized post-graduate training in hands on therapy which meet the standards of the International Federation of Manipulative Physical Therapy (IFOMPT) standards. He has his Acupuncture certification training through McMaster University Medical Acupuncture program. He is also certified in Integrated dry needling. Shawn has taken post-graduate training in prevention and treatment of running injuries. He continues to take post graduate education courses to continue to learn as Shawn believes ongoing skill development results in better outcomes for the patients.
