Dr. Albert Reyes is originally from Los Angeles, California. He obtained a Doctorate in Chiropractic Medicine from Cleveland University of Chiropractic and Health Sciences in Los Angeles. Upon graduation, Dr. Reyes completed an extended preceptorship at a prominent Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation Clinic in Santa Monica where he perfected cutting edge physiotherapy and rehabilitation techniques. Following his preceptorship, he worked as an associate at a clinic in Beverly Hills, California where he worked closely with orthopaedic surgeons and pain management doctors. Dr. Reyes actively demonstrates the latest innovative techniques to rehabilitate the injured spine and extremities. He is certified in Shockwave therapy as well as in Sports Nutrition. Prior to becoming a Chiropractor, he worked as a elementary school teacher in the Los Angeles Unified School District. He now happily lives in Charleston with his wife and twin daughters.

We address issues that most other practitioners do not understand or are not trained to recognize. Dr. Reyes has spent more than 12 years recognizing and diagnosing the hidden sources and patterns of pain (trigger point referral pain). Over the years he has developed an effective protocol to relieve patient's acute pain and, even in instances, help patients avoid more invasive treatments, surgical procedures and medication. We also offer Extracorporeal Shock-Wave Therapy (ESWT), a fast and gentle non-surgical method of reducing pain and tendinitis that fails to respond to injections, medication, or therapy. There are virtually no side effects with ESWT since no medication, surgery, injections, or anesthesia is involved.

Dr. Reyes was recommended to me by friends who see him. I had gone to at least two other chiropractors who said I would need to pay thousands and have multiple visits. Not Dr. Reyes! He explained what my condition was more thoroughly AND had me back to good in about 3 visits. Fast forward to this year, I could feel the same symptoms just on my other side. I booked one appointment and he was able to fix the issue within that one appointment! He said to let him know if it was still bothering me, but otherwise sent me on my way. Do not waste your time and money anywhere else. Dr. Reyes is by far the best.

Dr Reyes is friendly, funny, proficient and thorough. He has an approach that is also more than just spinal adjustments. With muscle massage and stretching he’s been able to help my neck and back issues. Highly recommend.
