I always knew that I wanted to dedicate my life to helping others. During my second year of college, a friend introduced me to chiropractic, and I immediately knew that was it for me. The philosophy of healing patients from within without the use of often times harmful drugs or surgery rang true with me. In 2007, I completed a post-graduate diplomat program in clinical nutrition at Northwestern Health Sciences University. I have also published research and case studies in the field of clinical nutrition. In addition to chiropractic, I specialize in functional medicine, which deals with primary prevention and underlying causes of chronic diseases instead of just the symptoms. It examines the core clinical imbalances that cause disease. Once I know what is going on in the patient's body I develop a treatment plan specifically for them. I believe functional medicine will transform primary care as we know it.
