Dr. Joey Miles

I've been under their care for 2+ years now and it has been a life altering experience. For at least 20 years, I had leaned to the left. I had a stance where my right foot would point outwards while simply standing or if I didn't position myself that way, my right leg would be bent forward, to mask the fact that I had a leg length discrepancy. I never once thought "ya know this could be something a chiropractor could fix". Instead, I chased my symptoms like foot, hip, or back pain. Finally, I was referred to Healthy Living by a local muscle therapist after not achieving everything I was hoping to with them. There is only so much you can do if your posture isn't aligned properly. Every team member here is first class and should be recognized as such. They go above and beyond what I've experienced in other doctor's offices, ensuring that the journey you're about to go on is something you can achieve. Dr Miles understands what it takes to run a facility that is welcoming and comfortable to patients. Upper cervical chiropractic care is not for everyone, and I have to constantly remind friends and family that no, "they don't crack my back every week" because that's not the answer. To me, it's a longer yet more fulfilling journey. In the past 2 years I've experienced everything from realizing just how crooked I was (my car seat kept digging into me and turns out I had twisted it over the years leaning left while driving....no kidding) to the wonderful feeling of being able to walk without pain in my right foot, which started this whole thing. Dr Autumn is one of those doctors you hope to find in a time of need. She's experienced in explaining the process and making me feel better when my muscles or nerves are just not happy some days. I'm lucky to have crossed paths with her over the past few years as I really don't know where I'd be otherwise. Probably still addressing the symptoms and not the cause of my pain. Big big shout out to the world class team at the front of the facility, Sarah and Amy. They've always been a huge help in working through scheduling, invoicing, and the nerve tests. They truly care about the wellbeing of everyone who walks in their doors. And if you're reading this wondering how the new doctors who have joined the facility in 2025 are, rest assured they're a wonderful addition. I've seen Dr Rebecca when I needed a little tune up in my back and she was great! Dr Sylvia has been fun to talk to and while I haven't had the chance to work with her yet, she's super smart and just another reason to check this place out. If you're on the fence about giving them a call, please know that should not be an issue. They're one of the best doctors I've been to, chiropractic or otherwise.

Por lo que creo que es una lesión de la vacuna contra la gripe 2021, vine al Dr. Miles & Dr. Otoño con dolor extremo en el cuello. Esto después de varios años de haber sido estrenado por especialistas en neurología y dolor que estaban ansiosos por recetar medicamentos y ofrecer cirugía. El encuentro con el Dr. Miles, se refiere a mí por mi mejor amigo que vive con EM, fue mi último intento de poder mejorar mi dolor cervical superior antes de la cirugía. ¡Estoy tan contenta de haber hecho! El mejoramiento que he tenido desde su protocolo cervical superior ha sido increíble. Ahora puedo girar la cabeza con más libertad y manejar mi dolor de cuello sin absolutamente ningún dolor de venta libre o recetado y medicamentos neurológicos que me dejaron sintiéndome como un zombi. El personal es increíble!!! Siempre están dispuestos a ser flexibles con mi horario. Realmente aprecio cómo se explica todo en términos sencillos cuando se trata de problemas con mi espalda. Ya veo por qué fueron votados mejor quiropráctico del condado. Cada experiencia que he tenido con ellos siempre ha sido positiva. ¡Sigan con el buen trabajo!
