Dr. Julie Armstrong, L.Ac. is a graduate of University of Southern California, earning a BS and MS in Biomedical Engineering, as well as a MS in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Dongguk University Los Angeles and a Doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Health Sciences. Julie is a licensed acupuncturist in the states of Arizona and California. In 2000, Julie certified as a Reiki Master/Teacher, and since then continues to practice and teach Reiki to thousands of students around the world as well as consulting for large organizations. Julie has served as faculty at the Arizona School of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine (ASAOM) and Han University of Traditional Medicine here in Tucson, AZ. Julie's passion in providing alternative methods to wellness stems from her own experience managing the care of her 26-year-old son who suffered a severe traumatic birth injury resulting in significant developmental impairment. Dr. Julie Armstrong, L.Ac. moved her family from Los Angeles in 2013 and founded Envision Wellness to share this amazing medicine with her new community. Envision Wellness - Acupuncture, Reiki, Herbal Medicine, Massage, Health Coaching and Well-Fit classes- offers a full range of Chinese medical services for the whole family. What a little gem this place is ! Offering a variety of services . Toooo many to count . I stopped in for a mid day yoga outdoor session once and it was just lovely . They have indoor and outdoor yoga classes , event spaces , reiki , and they even prescribe Chinese herbal medicine. There’s an entire herbal lab in the facility . Really neat place . Highly recommend!
I have been going to Envision Wellness for 2 months with a pretty complex set of problems and although the progress is slow as expected I am slowly getting better. I went to Envision after over a year of regular western docs and specialists trying everything I just kept getting worse. Dr. Julie Armstrong started Envision Wellness and is extremely well educated. We're working on getting me off of some of my medications and healing my body from the inside out. I have been seeing the lead provider Dr. Julie Armstrong and one of the other providers Dr. Megan Neal and they both have their own set of procedures they like to do and I love them both for different reasons! I am so impressed as well with the support staff: Sherri, Laura, Thayer, and Hunter; they all work together to round out the Envision family and I really feel like I've found a true gem with them. I've recommended several other people to them and my family member will also be going to see Dr. Armstrong in the future. If you feel like regular doctors just aren't helping you get better and you feel like you're at a dead end and feeling hopeless, go try out Envision. You won't be disappointed! They also have several classes you can attend.
