Owner Kip Hartman founded Active Physical Therapy in 2009 at the Marquette Fair Avenue location. The practice has grown to three locations in the Marquette area since then with locations now on 3rd Street in Marquette below Synergy Fitness and in the country village in Ishpeming.

My therapist Paul really helped me get a head start on exercises needed to strengthen my knee and hips before knee replacement surgery. He’s very knowledgeable and patient and explains both exercises and rationales in an easily understandable fashion. I recommend.
