Dr. Plate had actually never been to a chiropractor before deciding to go to chiropractic college. His dad was a chiropractic patient and really encouraged him to explore it as a career path. "I was always more into alternative, natural ways of healing, and I believed in staying well without taking medication. I have always enjoyed taking care of people, so chiropractic was a perfect fit."

Dr. Plate completed his undergraduate studies in biology and kinesiology at Sam Houston State University in Huntsville, TX. He then went on to attend Parker University in Dallas, TX, graduating in 1999, as a Doctor of Chiropractic.

While attending Parker University, Dr. Plate became heavily involved in advanced training and the use of adjunctive therapies, which he uses today in his practice to bring his patients the best care and fastest healing possible.With over twenty years of experience, Dr. Chris Plate is here to serve Allen and surrounding communities with natural, effective chiropractic care.
