Dr. Simmons received his Bachelor of Science degree from Texas A&M University in 1983 and his Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Texas Chiropractic College in 1986. At TCC he was a member of the Omega Psi Honor Society and President of Pi Kappa Chi Service Fraternity. His Post Graduate education includes a Fellowship in the International Academy of Medical Acupuncture and Certification in Manipulation Under Anesthesia. He is a former Vice-President and Internal Affairs Chairman for the Travis County Chiropractic Society.
Dr. Simmons also holds a DACBN post graduate degree (Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board) after passing rigorous practical and written examinations and completely over 350 hours of postgraduate study. Most recently, Dr. Simmons completed his course study and passed his board exam earning a FABBIR (Fellow- American Board of Brain Injury and Rehabilitation)The treatment of back, neck and joint pain has changed greatly from when we first started our practice in 1988. We have reduced our treatment times in half after initiating new techniques in our practice. This translates into lower costs and fewer visits by our patients. Our patients enjoy this shift in treatment philosophy as it saves them time and money. We have always resisted the temptation to join a large "group practice" to save on operating costs and share office personnel. Our office is dedicated to the modern principals of evidence based, functional and active self care to help patients with musculoskeletal pain.
