Dr. Jason Townsley was raised in Washington State in the small town of Okanogan. He kept having experiences that pushed him in the direction of becoming a chiropractor. At a young age he decided he wanted to spend the rest of his life serving people as a chiropractor. The decision was largely due to his grand father Doc. Doc was a chiropractor who practiced for over 50 years in Mississippi.

Upon graduation from high school he attended Eastern Washington State University and graduated with a bachelors in Exercise Science.

Dr. Townsley drove to Florida to attend Palmer College of Chiropractic Port Orange, Florida. While attending Palmer he met his wife Nicole Merritt. Prior to graduation they married and now both practice on Florida's Treasure Coast. Both Dr. Jason and Dr. Nicole Townsley focus on young families.

When not practicing Dr. Townsley loves spending time with his wife and son. The family loves activities on the water and can generally be found on one of the local islands.In 1996 Dr. Jeffrey Merritt opened up the doors of Merritt Chiropractic in Stuart. Dr. Merritt served families of the Treasure Coast of Florida for 23 years. In 2013 Dr. Merritt brought Dr. Jason Townsley into his practice as an associate.

Dr. Townsley took over Merritt Chiropractic when Dr. Merritt unexpectantly passed in 2013. Dr. Townsley's mission is to continue providing excellent chiropractic care to the families on Florida's Treasure Coast.

Dr. Townsley is related to the Merritt family through the marriage to his wife, Dr. Nicole (Merritt) Townsley.
