Dr. Budincich - the clinic's founder - had a disabling injury as a USC athlete in 1973. Fearing he would lose his scholarship, he agreed to visit his head coach's chiropractor, as he had to be helped out of his car due to severe pain for a month. After only three visits, Budincich resumed competition, and the following weekend, defeated the school record holder at UC Berkeley in the Shot Put - just 12 days after the initial treatment. This experience motivated the budding dental student to instead pursue a chiropractic course of study at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic after receiving his BS in Biological Sciences from USC. He was honored by the USC Cross Country team in 1988 as a team doctor at their banquet for the team's health and performance that year. Budincich continues to serve local high school and college athletes who have been injured while training or competing.
Currently, Dr Bud makes monthly trips to Mexico to treat the poor community with chiropractic care.Our clinic began on S. Lake Ave in the Colonnade Plaza, and expanded in 1985 to our present 3,600 square foot self standing building, which houses a team of chiropractors, acupuncturists, massage therapists, and support staff. We are open 6 days a week to be available for our hurting community, and have always been receptive to walk-in's. Dr Budincich has been in full time practice since January of 1981, building his business of healthcare and improving healing techniques. Dr Togi is our acupuncturist with years of experience.
We have been a chiropractic college extension training facility for over 30 chiropractors currently practicing in California. Interns are sent here from SCUHS to complete their clinical training.
We have speciallized adjustive techniques and therapy equipment including the revolutionary Delta Pulse device that uses PEMF technology for healing and pain control. New methods are continually introduced as they are developed as to heal as many patients as possible.
