About
In August of 2015 I completed a two week internship in Hangzhou, China. It was a great honor to intern at a teaching hospital for Traditional Chinese Medine.
I worked as a certified Personal Trainer with the National Academy of Sports Medicine for the 10 years. As a former dancer, I incorporate my knowledge of movement patterns to help treat my patients.
Personally I value being very active and using my body to exercise makes me feel good! Although I no longer rely on my physicality for dancing, I understand how upsetting it can be for individuals who do. My goal is to get this population back to doing the things they love. Dancing, surfing, mountain biking, whatever it is, my passion is to help people stay active.Healthlings was born in June 2016! We wanted to create a place that understands the athletic mind. Chinese medicine has the potential to create the kind of balance that athletic individuals can really benefit from in their training. By using acupuncture, cupping, taping, Gus sha and nutrition analysis, we can potentially get ahead of training injuries before they occur. We can also help active individuals get back to training as soon as possible.
