Hi, I'm Dr. Ricky Polizo and I believe that we all have a huge capacity to heal. My goal is to listen and understand you and your body so we can decode what your body wants to tell you and create strategies to live more optimally.Dr. Ricky Polizo grew up in Santa Barbara. He graduated from San Marcos High School in 2007 and ran track and played soccer all four years as a student. He then went on to run track at Long Beach State, where he studied Athletic Training and later worked with CSULB's Track & Field and Women's Soccer teams. Through his work alongside veterans and greats in the Athletic Training world, he came to value the role of touch in both the evaluation and treatment of the body.

Chiropractic, in his view, was the doctor who most emphasized this skill and taught the finesse of interacting with a patient through the hands of the practitioner. Dr. Ricky pursued this art at Life Chiropractic College West in the Bay Area, California. LCCW is a school that has the reputation of producing world class adjusters. This reputation was earned by encouraging repetition, exposure to many techniques, and self-work.

Dr. Ricky practiced in Mexico City before finally returning to Santa Barbara in 2018.
