I am a husband and father who understands the importance of balance in daily life and a healthy lifestyle. Being part of the health conscious and vibrant community of Davis.Dr Ackerman believes that a working body promotes a healthy life. He is an avid cyclist, backpacker, and photographer. He is a graduate of Life Chiropractic College West where he came to understand the importance of maintaining the integrity of the nervous system through the use of specific chiropractic adjustments. He came to chiropractic after having worked in hospitals as a Respiratory Therapist. This has given him an understanding of the many health related twists and turns a person can have on their journey of life.
Dr Ackerman's chiropractic practice is informed by his training and continuing education in various techniques including Diversified technique, Gonstead technique, and softer techniques including drop table and spring loaded adjusting instruments. He is also trained in myofascial release techniques.
