Dr. Lauren was born and raised in the East Bay Area. Early on in life she fell in love with the body's natural ability to overcome challenges and self-heal. After completing her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology and Rehabilitation Sciences from the University of Hawai'i at Manoa, she pursued mentorship and training in a variety of healthcare clinics for myofascial decompression, neuromuscular re-education, and movement rehabilitation. She finished her studies at Life West Chiropractic College to earn her Doctorate in Chiropractic.Aptos Family Chiropractic was founded in 2003. Dr. Lauren Cruz since purchased the practice from Dr. Deena Rig and continues to grow this thriving practice.
