At a young age I injured my lower back so badly that I could not support my own weight for over 3 weeks. I was carried into a chiropractor's office and walked out on my own. My chiropractor directed me to correcting the underlying problem rather than covering up the symptoms. This made sense to me, I'd medicated my pain for too many years. The doctor explained the difference between corrective care and pain relief. He told me that because of my condition, correction was the only solution, that stopping care just because I felt better would allow the spine to degenerate to a point where even chiropractic wouldn't help.

My first adjustment was nothing short of miraculous, I stood up on my own for the first time in 3 weeks and was able walk out of the office.
