Dr. Mayland attended the University of Iowa for his undergraduate studies and received his doctorate from Palmer college of Chiropractic in 2005. Since then, Dr. Mayland has become a certified Advanced Proficiency rated Activator Methods Doctor.

Currently, Dr. Mayland is a member of the South Dakota Chiropractors Association's Board of Directors and chairs the Insurance Relations Committee and a very active member of the Harrisburg Community. He has served on various board within the community and enjoys volunteering for various events.

Dr. Mayland, his wife Paula and 4 daughters reside in and enjoy being a part of the Harrisburg community.

Treating patients in all stages of life, Dr. Mayland enjoy seeing a variety of conditions from headaches, neck and back pain, carpal tunnel, hip, ankle and knee problems to infant colic and acid reflux
