Owner and Physical Therapist, has over 16 years experience in sports medicine and orthopedic physical therapy. He is certified in casting and fitting of custom foot orthotics through Sole Supports and is a certified Sportsmetrics instructor as well. Mike has extensive experience in working with area high school and college athletes in Southwest Iowa area. His philosophy on physical therapy is to utilize a custom tailored therapy program for each individual with emphasis on patient education to maximize functional outcomes.

Mike is a Desert Storm veteran and served in the Army as a medic with the 3rd Armored Division. He attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln from 1992-1994 studying psychology and pre-physical therapy. Mike earned the Masters of Physical Therapy from the University of Nebraska Medical Center in 1997 where he graduated with High Distinction honors.Mike Uhrlaub, owner and physical therapist opened Flex PT in 2006 after working as a Physical Therapist for another health system since 1997. Flex now employs 3 Physical Therapists and 1 Occupational therapist.
