Steve H

In 2011, Steve graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. His early work took him to Chicago, IL where his work centered in outpatient physical therapy, servicing clients with orthopedic conditions, sports injuries, surgeries, arthritis, and pain. He developed a passion for back pain treatment, hip & knee pain treatment, and athletic populations.

He has benefited from excellent mentors through his career that supported career growth and continued education. He believes in a mindset of continuous learning. Over recent years, he has obtained additional training, education, and certifications. Some areas of expertise include ASTYM (tool-asisted soft tissue mobilization), Dry Needling, TMD (TMJ), vertigo, chronic pain, worker’s comp evaluations, and a board specialty in orthopedics (OCS). These specialities demonstrate a great level of commitment to allow his patients to get better faster.
Break Free opened its doors in the fall of 2022 and has been growing ever since. Former patients have returned, spreading the word of their results, supporting our business, and sharing the beginning of the journey with Break Free Physical Therapy.
