In 2014, Dr. Karen Hansen PT, DPT opened up an independent, therapist-owned outpatient physical therapy clinic to prioritize patient care to better meet the needs of those in our community. The clinic specializes in treatment of various neurological and vestibular conditions with advanced assessement tools and equipement. In 2023, Karen decided to move closer to home and sold the clinic to a fellow Physical Therapist in August of 2023.
Dr. Brooklyn Apple, PT, DPT is a native of Gainesboro, TN. As part of her undergraduate career at Lipscomb University, she was required to obtain observation hours at a clinic of interest which was Tennessee Therapy & Balance Center. Brooklyn obtained her Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science and returned to Tennessee Therapy and Balance Center as a Rehabiliation Technician in 2017. She was then accepted into Tennessee State University for graduate school when she returned to the clinic in June of 2021 as a Doctor of Physical Therapy.
