The Center at Val Vista began full operation at the end of November 2016. Our excellent rehabilitation care was quickly recognized throughout the healthcare industry and within two months our patient population grew to over 65 short-term rehab patients. With all private rooms and as a 96-bed facility, we pride ourselves with a 12-16 patient-per-nurse ratio; this is despite the state of Arizona's definition of "sufficient staff," which allows for up to 64 patients-per-nurse in a Skilled Nursing Facility. We serve patients from all over the Valley, and even have patients that come from communities 1-3 hours away in anticipation of the wonderful and attentive care they will receive.
