A member of the board of directors of the South Carolina chapter of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), owner Mark Murphy is a physical therapist specializing in helping people in pain. Mark graduated summa cum laude from Saint Louis University with a Bachelor of Science in Exercise Science and a Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy. He has worked in both hospital and outpatient settings.

After a two-year program, he earned a certification in manual therapy in 2002, and in 2003 he started Premier Physical Therapy of the Upstate LLC. After traveling throughout the country to learn new therapy methods, in 2006 Mark earned the significant distinction of a Fellow in the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists. In 2007, he became an Orthopedic Certified Specialist.

Mark is also a member of the Orthopedic section and private practice section of the APTA and the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists.
