Seth F

Seth graduated from Richard Stockton College in May 1997 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. He continued his studies at the University of Saint Augustine for Health Sciences where he graduated in 2001 with a Master of Physical Therapy Degree. In June 2001, Seth attained his Certified Strength and Conditioning Certification and has utilized this to work on different sports injuries. He attained his Manual Therapy Certification through the University of Saint Augustine in June 2003 and he has recently attained his Clinical Doctoral Degree in Physical Therapy with a focus on Orofacial Pain.

Over the past 7 years, Seth has completed numerous continuing education courses, including courses taught on the treatment of TMJ, cranio-facial pain, migraine headache disorders, fibromyalgia pain management, manual therapy, spinal disorders, and dry needling. Seth has been a guest lecturer at Western Carolina University and given several public lectures for local establishments.Seth and Melinda F. opened their first physical therapy clinic in December 2003 in Tranquility, NJ. About two years later, they opened a second clinic not too far away in Clark, NJ. While the pair loved living near family and NYC, their desire to have a patient-centered practice was a challenge given the overall health care environment of NJ. After 2 years of careful consideration, they decided to take a leap of faith and move to Asheville. The city's proclivity for natural, holistic approaches to health was also a perfect fit.

After moving from NJ to NC, Seth and his wife, Melinda, opened the doors of Cornerstone Physical Therapy in May 2008. Since its inception, the clinic has added 7 highly-skilled therapists and helped thousands of patients.

In early 2013, Cornerstone opened its Wellness Clinic just steps from the first office. The wellness clinic offers a variety of services including massage therapy, acupuncture, herbal medicine, skin care, and one-on-one pilates.
