IIene Chazan has been a physical therapist since 1990 and since 1996 has been a board-certified clinical specialist in Orthopedics. Desiring to connect conscious mind/body movement with physical therapy, she became certified in Pilates in 2005. Since then she managed Synergy Studio (San Marco location), where, working with clients and patients, she integrated physical therapy with Pilates. In August 2014 she opened Ergo Body in the same location, where she continues to integrate the two for clients of all ages and levels of function and fitness as well as for patients at various stages of rehabilitation.
