Lauren has worked in health care all of her life. She began her journey earning her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology with an emphasis in physical therapy. She was introduced to acupuncture while completing her hours for physical therapy school and was convinced to study integrative medicine. She continues to be driven by the power of the integration of eastern and western medicine in her private practice in Newport Beach and San Juan Capistrano.I started Life Point Acupuncture to in 2018 to provide care that addresses the mind, the body, and the soul.

After graduating at the top her class with a Masters in Chinese Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego, Lauren practiced at Open Mind Modalities, part of the Integrative Complementary and Alternative Medicine Program at Children's Hospital of Orange County (CHOC). Under the guidance of co-founders Ruth McCarty and pediatric neurosurgeon, Dr. William Louden, Lauren provided Traditional Chinese Medicine treatments for criticallyill patients and their families, some of whom she still sees today.

Lauren also worked alongside Ryoko Takayama at Family Wellness in Newport Beach, where she absorbed new techniques in Japanese acupuncture that she now implements as part of her own practice.
