Rod H

A native of St. Joseph, MO, Rod attended the University of Missouri, where he earned his degree in Physical Therapy. In 1981, he opened Mill Valley Physical Therapy & Sports Rehabilitation and in 1983, established and was director of the physical therapy department at Ross Valley Medical Clinic. Rod is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association. He also volunteers physical therapy services for several local high school sports teams. Rod specializes in orthopedics, sports injuries, spinal injuries and manual therapy.

Michael K. Leary, P.T. : Partner and Clinical Operations Director
A graduate of the Mayo Clinic, Michael founded the Asher Clinic and also served as a trainer at the Olympic games. He has also founded Physical Focus in Greenbrae as well as BackFirst, an injury prevention and rehabilitative program for the city of San Francisco. Michael brings years of orthopedic assessment and clinical skills to MVPT.MVPT has been located in Mill Valley for 35 years. After the first 8 years of busness, we expanded to a 2000 sq.ft. facility located on Miller Avenue. As the practice grew, so did the need for greater space and professional staffing.

MVPT is located in our beautiful 3000 sq.ft. clinic at the corner of Camino Alto and East Blithedale. We offer an array of services including Pilates in a dedicated 1000 sq.ft. studio for post rehabilitation conditioning and private core strengthening programs. MVPT also provides private Personal Training and on-the-job or home office ergonomic training, with workstation assessments and training.
