Dr. Kurt Brewer earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences. While attending National University, Dr. Brewer gained proficient knowledge of traditional Chinese acupuncture, manual medicine, functional rehabilitation, sports injury care, nutritional counseling, Cox® Flexion-Distraction Technique, and Kinesio taping techniques. He is also certified in the Burdenko method aquatic rehabilitation and The McKenzie Method® of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy™. Dr. Brewer is a member of the American Chiropractic Association.

Outside of the office Dr. Brewer enjoys weight training, crossfit, mixed martial arts, traveling, and cooking.Synergy started in 2012 in Chicago specializing in mostly rehabilitative and post trauma injuries. Throughout the first year in business we had expanded in adding aquatic rehabilitation to our services. Since then, the business has moved from Chicago to the Western Suburbs to provide for the area where Dr. Brewer currently lives. Treatment has expanded to more therapies including massage therapy and trigger point dry needling. We are happy to be able to treat people of all ages and provide for our local community.
