I can't recommend Dr. Kate Ninomiya enough. I came in with sesamoiditis, and from the very first appointment, it was clear that the focus wasn't just on treating the pain in my foot. She took the time to look at my overall well-being and helped me build strength, stability, and balance through a personalized physiotherapy plan. Throughout my recovery, I always felt heard and supported. Every session was thoughtful, and she adjusted my exercises based on my progress while explaining the reasoning behind them. It never felt like a one-size-fits-all approach. I'm incredibly grateful for all the care, encouragement, and patience she showed throughout the process. If you're looking for a physiotherapist who truly cares about your long-term recovery—not just treating the immediate injury—I highly recommend her!

My experience at Avant Physical Therapy was mixed. Ronnie at the front desk was helpful. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Jessica as a physical therapist. I found the treatment passive, not appropriately challenging, and the clinical documentation required repeated follow-up on my part. Despite being fully committed to my recovery, I ultimately transferred my care to another physical therapist. Patients deserve engaged care and accurate documentation from the start.

I started physical therapy here about four months postpartum and worked with Laura. She did a very thorough assessment during my first visit and really listened to my concerns. After a few sessions, my pelvic floor issues improved a lot. Later on, I had some back, shoulder, and lower back pain, and Laura always adjusted the treatment plan based on what I needed at the time. She also provided home exercises through their app, which is easy to use and includes helpful videos. Scheduling was very efficient, and communication was always smooth and pleasant. Overall, a great experience—very professional, respectful, and effective. Highly recommend!

This review is long overdue. My daughter has been a client of Laura Shellooe for close to two years as needed. We couldn't be happier with the services provided each time we see her. She is incredibly smart and attentive. She is able to think outside the box and knows how the body works all together which ensures a comprehensive approach. There has never been a time she has not be able to address our concerns. On top of this I feel she is part of our overall team. She cares about the overall health and outcome and that's not easy to find.

I have been working with John for the last 3 months for my knee (cartilage defect) and my experience has been awesome. I have tried going to another PT previously for months long and haven't had any improvements and actually made my condition worse. For the last 3 months, we have been working carefully on strengthening individual muscle groups that play a big role in knee/cartilage health. He communicates clearly and explains all questions I ask in great detail which is really want I needed throughout this challenging recovery period. He not just gives advice on exercises but also helps with useful tips on nutritioning, resting, and other recovery aspect. He understands the challenges after the microfracture surgery and meticulously adjusts the exercises based on my pain response. On another note, Avant PT is a friendly place and everybody is professional.
