The Back Resort originally was named the Spinal Care and Wellness Center with an office near Lewis Gale hospital on Keagy Rd in Salem, VA. In 2004 the office moved to its current location at 1216 Electric Rd. in Salem, VA on Rt. 419 between the G.E. plant and Hardees. The clinical founder and director is Dr. Dan Davidson, chiropractor voted Top Doc several times by the Roanoke Magazine. Dr. Kathryn Young joined the clinic in 1990 and Dr. Mark Mandell joined the staff in 2010.
