Dr. Artem Abakumov has a collective 7 years of working in pediatrics. This includes working with kids at a sensory integration occupational therapy practice and in behavioral therapy. In the athletic field, Dr. Abakumov specializes in sports that are highly dynamic with emphasis on surfing, rock climbing, snowboarding, gymnastics, kayaking, and the everyday athlete. His passion is to solve problems and help others reach their highest potential.

Dr. Abakumov grew up in the northwestern region of the Black Sea on the Crimean peninsula in Sevastopol, Ukraine. He immigrated to Chicago, Illinois in 1999 where he completed his formal education and received his degree in psychology with a focus in behavioral research. He then moved to southern California where he earned his Doctorate of Chiropractic and continues to pursue sports medicine.
