My career as a massage therapist began over twenty years ago in New York. I started out working at a health spa located in five star hotel on Long Island. A few years later, I was hired as a medical massage therapist at a physical medicine and rehabilitation clinic. I worked with a Physiatrist and a Physical Therapist to assist in patient rehabilitation. It is there that I learned a valuable technique called neuromuscular/trigger point therapy. I enjoyed the work, and I had good results in helping the patients to feel better.

In 2011 my family and I moved to North Carolina. I continued in the field of medical massage therapy by working at a Chiropractic office in Charlotte. I decided to open my own business because I believe in the healing aspects of massage combined with prayer and I feel as though there is a great need for this type of massage treatment.My business really began organically while I was working for a local Chiropractor. I began
praying silently for the client during the massage. Asking God to guide me, and help the client in some small way. Whatever the client needed, God would know.

Soon I started to get positive feedback from the clients. It was different from the feedback of the past. The comments were of a spiritual nature. Not only were the clients feeling better physically, but they also felt positive and uplifted.

I wasn't just focused on the medical aspect of the massage, increasing circulation and breaking down adhesions within the muscles. I was focusing on the spiritual aspect, silently praying for healing-not just physical, but spiritual healing as well.

I believe in this treatment so much that I had the treatment manual copyrighted. It is unique to me and Prayerful Touch Massage.
