Dr. Smith had many of the same health issues that so many of the patients that have sought her help have had. She had a history of headaches and migraines, back pain, other joint pains, digestive complaints, food sensitives, weight issues; she was even diagnosed with chronic fatigue syndrome and non-REM narcolepsy! She was on multiple prescription medications for many years, including Ritalin for 4 years. When she was introduced to chiropractic in 1999 that all started to change. Once she saw the improvement in herself, she wanted to be able to do the same for others. She has been off of all medication for over 15 years and feels better than when she was 18! She loves helping others find this same relief.Dr. Smith earned a bachelor’s degree in biology/chemistry in 1999 from Milligan College in Tennessee and a doctor of chiropractic degree, magna cum laude, in 2005 from Logan Chiropractic College in Missouri. She has held an Advanced Proficiency rating from Activator Methods since 2003 and specializes in treating patients with this gentle, low-force technique that is proven through clinical trials to provide relief for numerous ailments.
